Good to know

About Las Catalinas

Las Catalinas is a car-free, walkable beach town in Guanacaste, designed on New Urbanism principles to blend into its surroundings. Inspired by Mediterranean hill towns, it's all plazas, cafes, shops and pastel buildings, with most of the surrounding tropical forest left intact.

It's a sustainable, family-friendly spot about 45–60 minutes from Liberia airport, with a beach club, grocery store and a big network of biking and hiking trails right out the door.
